The customer service is great but I wish they would go the extra step when fixing your car. I have brought my car in twice to have the DVD player fixed and it is still not working. I don't even think they fixed it last time. I'm 700 miles away from my 50K service and they should have just done it at the same time but didn't. I would like them to be a little more proactive when fixing your car. Christian is always very friendly and helpful and makes sure I have a loaner car to meet my needs.

Since purchasing my certified used 2004 BMW x5 at Ralph Schomp on Broadway in 2007 I have never had any major issues with the vehicle and Schomp has always treated me as if I was bringing their newest model for service. The service has always prompt and friendly and with the extended warranty that I bought at the time of purchase the out of pocket for any service that did need to be done was always minimal. I paid by vehicle off at the beginning of this year and the 36 month warranty had expired in November of last year. I took my car in for an all-points 100,000 mile inspection recently and though it did cost me nearly $2,500 I feel confident that the work provided was quality and should make my vehicle last that much longer. Stuart honored a coupon I had that discounted the overall work and parts from $3,000 down to about $2,400 and also provided me with a free loaner for two days while they worked on my car. When I am ready to trade up this vehicle to a newer model I will definitely be coming back to Schomp. It has been a pleasant experience now for almost four years! Thank you.

We were looking for a used BMW and were not in the market to spend a lot of money. So, I assumed it would be tough to get service at a BMW dealership used to selling high priced cars. I was sure wrong. We were treated very well, and tested two 2006 BMW 3 Series...they were low priced, but in great condition. Len our consultant was great. He put the car through its paces and proved, just because the cars were a few years old, they've NOT lost their kick. He was very accommodating, and never seemed impatient with us and had a true understanding that even though this wasn't a large $60k purchases, it was big for us. He worked out a great finance plan, and soon we were on our way home in our BMW 325i. I'll recommend Schomp to anyone looking for a good buying experience. They're not going to haggle with you, and force you into a car you're not willing to take home. They are just as happy selling a low priced car as they are a super luxury car. Thanks for making our experience painless and actually, enjoyable! We'll be back for our next NEW BMW!

We just purchased our first new BMW from Paul Lim at Schomp BMW. The car was a special order and Paul was great in helping us in every step along the way. We first considered a vehicle on the lot but deliberated between it and ordering the car with the options we wanted. Paul could have easily tried to sweeten the deal to push us into purchasing the vehicle they had which was actually more expensive, but made sure we had and took the time to make a decision we would be happy with. He was helpful and communicative along the way, however, the most impressive and surprising part of the entire process was when the car arrived. By far this was the easiest and most stress-free car buying experience I have ever had. There were no hidden costs, agendas, or additional sales pitches. The staff was friendly, helpful, and they went above and beyond to make the purchasing of our new car what it should be: enjoyable rather than stressful and full of distrust. Paul and the Schomp team not only earned our trust and recommendation, but most likely our future business by cultivating a relationship rather than trying to squeeze a bit more out of us on a one time deal.

After more than a half-dozen trips in 4 months to the service department for the same reasons in the San Diego area (Encinitas BMW), we took our X-5 in once again, but this time to Schomp BMW, after just relocating to Colorado. Again this was for the same issues we have had since buying the vehicle in late 2010. We were so frustrated at this point that we were just about to drive the vehicle through the show-room window and throw the keys at someone and tell them to take it back. But we gave Schomp a chance to correct it and they have gone a long way in winning us back as BMW customers. I drive an X-6 and my wife came out of a 3-series when we bought this X-5, so I consider us good BMW customers and we're not looking for free repair. During this period of Encinitas not correcting our problem, the vehicle fell out of manufacturers warranty, and the Certified warranty did not cover this issue that was finally corrected by Schomp. But Ricky Stegmaier, Service Advisor, did a ton of research on the past service appointments and saw that this should have been repaired and covered. And he went to bat to get this covered as it should be. But he took ownership and did what was right, and in doing so, he probably saved this relationship with BMW and brought future business in for Schomp. I know it takes a team so there were others involved, but Ricky took ownership and communicated with us the whole way. I don't usually spend the time out my busy schedule to acknowledge things like this, but this was called for as you don't get great service these days at most places. Ricky was fantastic. Thanks again, Ricky!

Everything was wonderful! I was very nervous about the entire car buying experience, and I had been waiting on a copy of my title to be sent from California for almost a month so I had lots of time to imagine all of the things that could go wrong. I'm very happy to say that everything about my experience at Schomp, and specifically with Mr. Niedbala, was perfect. He was knowledgeable, respectful, friendly and very patient. I never felt like I had to bargain or work for a better price or better service and that was what I was most scared of. I know that I was making a used car purchase so it was probably not as exciting as your average BMW sale, but I didn't feel any less important. All of my questions were answered and the entire visit was comfortable and relaxed. I honestly cant image it going any better. I will be bringing cupcakes!

BMW's New App Discovers, Rates Best Roads
- BMW has introduced "The Ultimate Drive" social navigation app that allows users to discover the best roads to drive in more than 50 countries.
- Users can rank, comment and share their own favorite roadways via Facebook, e-mail or GPS devices.
- The free app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
WOODCLIFF LAKE, New Jersey — Car enthusiasts longing for a Sunday drive anywhere, any day of the week — well, now there is an app for that.
"The Ultimate Drive" is a social navigation mobile app that allows users to discover the best roads to drive in more than 50 countries, and like a smartphone "American Idol" competition, lets them rank, comment and share those roads via Facebook, e-mail or GPS devices. It's sponsored by BMW Group Financial Services.
"Within a few seconds of opening the app, 'The Ultimate Drive' connects you to driving enthusiasts who have discovered great roads in your neighborhood — roads you may have overlooked," said Pawan Murthy, general manager of online business for BMW Group Financial Services.
After downloading the app, which is available for both iOS and Android devices, the app finds the user's location and then displays recommended stretches of road from other car enthusiasts. Conversely, when the user has generated his or her own favorite stretch, it takes three taps to share via e-mail or Facebook or send to a GPS device or app.
San Francisco-based software and technology firm SocialNav developed the technology that powers "The Ultimate Drive". It can be downloaded for free from Apple's App Store and the Android Marketplace.

I came to Schomp BMW looking for a completely different car than the one I purchased. During my first visit, I was so impressed by the customer service and attention to detail that I decided I would wait for them to get the car I wanted so I could buy from them. We even had a few hiccups along the way, but I always felt comfortable that I was getting the best possible value and the best possible car. And to add to it, a portion of my purchase went to support the Children's Hospital - can't do much better than that.

Marcello was very knowledgable about the cars and extremely patient/helpful when I decided to upgrade to a newer car within the first 48 hours. He presented all of the post sales products available, but was not pushy about any of them. I appreciated the experience and would recommend working with Marcello to a friend. In addition, I thought the trade-in process went well. I had an old Honda Accord and was offered a reasonable trade-in value without much haggling (sorry, can't remember who I worked with on that one). Overall - nice job.

Our experience of purchasing a new vehicle from Schomp BMW was absolutely the most positive car-buying experience we have ever had. (And we've purchased a lot of vehicles -- domestic, foreign, car, light truck, SUV, "average price", luxury -- since we bought our first new one in 1971.) Schomp's business model of "One-Price Selling" is a fantastic way to do business. We never felt any pressure to say "yes" to anything we didn't want, and, in fact, Brian Neal was very up-front about what would and would not make sense for us. When we finally settled on a particular model, we knew it was the right vehicle properly equipped for us.
Even though Schomp's price wasn't the lowest we could have found in the marketplace, it was definitely competitive, and the price we were given for our trade-ins (two cars) was better than anywhere else. As a complete package, we got a great deal. We had to special-order our vehicle and Brian kept us informed during the production process so we always knew what the status was.
When the vehicle finally arrived Brian handled all the delivery paperwork, which was a nice change from the typical process where you have to meet with a completely different person in the finance department. What a welcome difference! Then Corrie Nave took over. She went through all the features of our new BMW and explained how everything worked. She did a great job of answering our questions, and it's very obvious that she "knows her stuff!"
